HOW TO CHOOSE A SYSTEM

1) Measure the Area
  • For outdoor cooling systems, measure all open sides of the area to be cooled.
  • For Mistscaping, place nozzles in groups of 3 - 5 for a more dramatic effect. Designate the quantity of nozzles needed.
  • For warehouse cooling or humidification applications, contact Customer Service

2) Divide by 10
Take the total area measured in step 1 and divide by 10. The result will be the number of 10 foot Kits that are needed to complete the system. Decide which tubing is preferred. fogmachines.com offers Flexible Nylon, Rigid Copper, or Rigid Stainless Steel.

3) Choose a Pump
The fogmachines.com pump range includes the Promotional Series - 160 to 250 PSI; the Professional Direct Drive Series - 1000 PSI; and the Premium Pulley Drive Series - 1000 PSI. Review the capabilities of each pump range to determine which Series is best suited for the application. See the chart below for PSI and Flow Capacity specifications.

Pump Series PSI Flow Rate Nozzle Qty Capacity Kit Qty Capacity
Promotional - Booster 160 .17 GPM 4-16 1-4
Promotional - Medium 250 .5 GPM 12-32 3-8
Professional European 1000 1-8 LPM 4-64 1-16
Professional - Direct Drive 1000 .5 to 4 GPM 8-132 2-33
Professional - Pulley Drive 1000 1 to 3 GPM 16-96 4-24
Premium - Pulley Drive 1000 1 to 5 GPM 16-164 4-41
Systems above 2 GPM may require ½" feed line.

4) Include the Filter Starter Kit
The fogmachines.com Filter Starter Kit is an all inclusive kit containing all the necessary accessories to connect the pump to the water supply on the low pressure side and to the fog line on the high pressure side. It is a requirement for all installations. Do not use the Filter Starter Kit for systems above 3 GPM. Call Customer Service for assistance.
